Greg McAvoy - President & Estimator
Greg McAvoy opened Liberty Metals, Inc in 1988 with a vision for success. 22 years later, we are still in the business of offering our customers quality work and building strong working relationships with companies all over the Central Valley. Greg has over 35 years of experience in the steel industry starting at many companies as they were just opening, and eventually moving on to creating his own company. His experiences in the field and in the office provide Greg with a solid foundation and strong capabilities, making him a valued asset to any project. His extensive knowledge of steel construction allows him to be proficient in any building situation including commercial, residential and government projects.
On a personal note, Greg has been married for 31 years, has two daughters and 3 granddaughters. In his spare time he enjoys golfing, boating and camping.
Shannon Recchio - Office Manager & Accounting
Shannon Recchio is the daughter of Greg. She has been at Liberty Metals since she was just a young girl, and started to work in the family business when she was in high school. After graduating from Fresno State with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Business Administration she began working full time at Liberty Metals as the office manager. Shannon handles all orders, accounting and general administration tasks.
On a personal note, Shannon is recently married and is coming up on her first anniversary, and has a daughter on the way. She enjoys playing with her chocolate lab Cooper, her nieces, traveling with her husband, and cooking.
